ABA Nova is a clinical documentation assistance tool. It is not a medical record system, an Electronic Health Record (EHR), or a HIPAA-covered entity.
By using this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You are the responsible clinician. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and HIPAA compliance of all clinical documentation generated or stored through this tool.
- Do not enter protected health information (PHI). This application is designed to work with de-identified data only. Never enter full names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, Medicaid ID numbers, addresses, phone numbers, or any other information that could identify a specific individual.
- Use initials only. All client identifiers must be limited to initials only (e.g., F.R.).
- AI-generated content requires clinical review. Notes generated by this tool are drafts only. You must review, verify, and take responsibility for all content before use in any official record.
- Your organization's HIPAA policies apply. Use of this tool does not substitute for compliance with your organization's HIPAA Privacy and Security policies, Business Associate Agreements, or applicable state laws.
- Florida Medicaid standards. Documentation generated through this tool is intended as a starting point. Final clinical notes must meet all applicable Florida Medicaid, BACB, and CASP standards.
